Our Story
We believe that everyone deserves access to purposeful, therapeutic movement — and that the water is one of the best places to find it.

Our Mission
Anchor Wellness Studio was founded by Kate Forman with a simple but powerful belief: that the water has the power to help people move better, recover faster, and feel stronger — regardless of age, condition, or ability.
Too many people are told they can't exercise. They've had surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, or conditions that make land-based fitness inaccessible or unsafe. The aquatic environment changes the equation entirely. With buoyancy supporting the body and reducing joint load by up to 90%, movement becomes possible again.
Anchor Wellness Studio exists to bring that kind of therapeutic, purposeful aquatic fitness to the greater Youngstown area — in a professional facility, led by certified instructors, and genuinely open to every body that walks through the door.
We build programs around real people, not assumptions about what "fitness" looks like. All ages, all abilities, all welcome.
Our approach is rooted in therapeutic principles, not trends. We focus on outcomes that matter: mobility, pain relief, strength, and quality of life.
We know our clients by name and by story. Our instructors invest in each person's progress, not just the class as a whole.
The Team
Every member of our team is trained in aquatic therapy and committed to your progress — not just your attendance.
